Best Breakfast Smoothie for
the Whole Family
Like most families, all six of us want to be as healthy as possible, yet also indulge in our cravings good and bad. This winter my husband Joe was Paleo and my daughter, Catie, became a vegan.
Since my husband does all the cooking, my son, John and I were Paleo vegans, which just means we ate everything. My oldest two boys were away at college eating god knows what!
Fast forward to summer 2019 and a friend shared a great smoothie recipe that we all have been starting our day with, whether our day starts at 7am or 1pm. We did add a few ingredients like wild blueberries and mangos, because the Medical Medium says they are great antioxidants. I thought I’d share the recipe so here goes…
3 or 4 ice cubes
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen wild blueberries
1/2 cup fresh or frozen mango
1 scoop of Plant Protein
1 tsp. each Cacao, PB2, Chia Seeds, and Hemp Hearts (see below)
1 cup Almond Milk
All of these ingredients can be purchased in your local supermarket.
